When we read to children, we’re building vocabulary, language, listening skills, imagination, and a lifelong love of books. But just as importantly, we’re teaching them to slow down, listen, wonder, ask questions, and enjoy learning together.

🐹🥔 Everyone, meet TATER TOT! 🥔🐹

Our preschool program has officially gained its tiniest staff member, and honestly… he’s already pulling his weight around here. 😂

Tater Tot is our Official Snack Inspector, professional circle-time observer, veggie enthusiast, and expert in preschool chaos. He’s still working on his pencil grip and absolutely refuses to help with clean-up, but we’re giving him time. 🤷‍♀️😂

More importantly, Tater Tot is giving our kiddos another fun way to learn about kindness, responsibility, gentle hands, curiosity, and caring for something smaller than themselves. 💛

His resume may be short, but his squeaks are LOUD.

We LOVE getting to see how our kiddos are doing after they leave us for big school! Asher is thriving in Kindergarten, making new friends, learning lots, and even losing a few teeth along the way! 😂🦷

Nothing makes us happier than seeing that the little humans we helped prepare are out there rocking Kindergarten!

👩‍🍳🔥 CHEF BECKY APPRECIATION POST — BECAUSE SHE BASICALLY RUNS THIS PLACE 🔥👩‍🍳

We need to talk about the woman, the myth, the 4-foot-9-AND-A-HALF-inch legend herself… Chef Becky. 😂💛 And YES, you better include that half inch. She will be taking no further questions at this time. 💅

This woman creates our menus, cooks day in and day out, keeps our kiddos fed, makes sure we have ice packs for the approximately 47,000 preschool emergencies that occur before lunch 😂, and somehow keeps that kitchen moving like she’s running a five-star restaurant for tiny food critics who will absolutely reject something because “it looks weird.”

She walks into TMA ready to WORK. No nonsense. No messing around. Just 4'9½" of pure kitchen authority. 👏😂

She may be the smallest adult in the building, but somehow we’re all a little scared of her—and we mean that with nothing but love. 🤣❤️

Chef Becky, thank you for feeding our kiddos, taking care of our team, keeping us stocked, and being one of those people TMA simply could not function without.

We love you BIG—even if you’re only 4'9½". 😏😂💛

🐹🥔 Please Welcome the Newest (and Furriest) Member of TMA… TATER TOT! 🥔🐹

Our preschool class has officially hired a new classroom assistant, and his qualifications are… questionable. 😂

Meet Tater Tot, our new guinea pig! 💛 His current responsibilities include:

Eating snacks like it’s his full-time job 🥬
Looking ridiculously cute
Squeaking during important conversations
Supervising circle time from his luxury apartment
Teaching our kiddos about responsibility, kindness, and caring for animals

He may be small, but we have a feeling Tater Tot is about to become VERY important around here. 😂🐹

We are SO excited to celebrate Ms. Gail as Ten Mile Academy’s Teacher of the Year! 🎉🍎

If you know Ms. Gail, you know just how deserving she is of this recognition. She leads with love, patience, kindness, and a whole lot of heart. She encourages her kiddos, supports her teammates, listens without judgment, and is always willing to step in wherever she is needed.

Ms. Gail is the kind of teacher who makes children feel safe, loved, capable, and important—and that is something you simply cannot teach. 🥹💕

We are incredibly lucky to have her as part of our TMA family.
