Our school has an amazing opportunity to help those in our community during this holiday season. Gem Prep South will be participating in Toys for Tots. Please see flyer for additional details.

Thank you to all of our Veterans! Scholars were able to recognize some of their wonderful service and sacrifices today. Scholars had a Friday morning huddle where we recognized several servicemen in our school community. Classes also put together 20 care packages to send overseas to our active duty military. Thank you, families, for your donations, and thank you, scholars, for your letters. We are grateful for all the wonderful men and women who serve and have served our country. Happy Veteran's Day!

Hello Falcons! We are participating in Operation Fill the Box. If you are able to donate that would be much appreciated! Please send donations with your scholar and there will be a box in their classroom to collect those donations.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first annual Trunk or Treat last night! It was a blast! Also, a big thank you to Albertsons on Eagle and Amitty for your generous donation to our event!

Thank you, 107.9 LITE FM and the "little birdy" for the donuts for our staff this morning! It was much appreciated!

We are excited to host our 1st annual Trunk or Treat event next week for our GPMS families. An email was sent this afternoon with additional details. See you there!

Thank you to all of our scholars for a great first month of school! We had our first EPIK assembly on Friday and had the chance to recognize some of the great work happening on campus. Congratulations to our scholars of the month for September!

I am so excited to announce that we will be hosting our first school Scholastic Book Fair. The fair will be held from October 3rd through October 7th in Classroom 101!

Hours are as follows:
Monday, Oct 3rd- 7:30-7:55 am, 3:30-4:30 pm
Tuesday, Oct 4th 7:30-7:55 am, 3:30-4:30 pm
Wednesday, Oct 5th 7:30-7:55 am, 1-2 pm
Thursday, Oct 6th 7:30-7:55 am, 3:30-4:30 pm
Friday Oct 7th 7:30-7:55 am, 3:30-4:30 pm

On Wednesday, Oct 5th, we will have a special Book Fair Event! Come make a craft with your scholar and shop the Book Fair from 4:30-6:30 pm!

Scholars will be able to create wish lists and shop the book fair during their library time!

Looking for a way to help out? We are hoping to offer Girls on the Run as an extracurricular after-school opportunity for our 3rd - 5th scholars. Another productive day! Teachers back working hard getting ready for the upcoming year, lots and lots of boxes of curriculum being unloaded, playground growing, lines marked off for the gym floor, our Fab Lab has furniture, and we have a flagpole now!

Only 13 days until day 1!

Today was a productive day! Staff started their training for the upcoming school year and are building anticipation for the start of the year!

Also, our play structure is being built, and they're starting to paint the gym floor!
