Day 6 of wildfire smoke… and we’ve officially played “bad guy and policeman” approximately 100 times. 😂🚔

But before all the imaginative play started, I actually let the boys be bored for a little while this morning.

As hard as it can be to hear “Mum, what can we do?” over and over, boredom isn’t a bad thing. 💛 It’s actually been linked to helping children build creativity, problem-solving skills, independence, and imagination. Sometimes, when we don’t jump in with the next activity, they surprise us with the games they create all on their own.

Eventually… that game just happened to involve me being chased around the house. 🤪😂

We’re definitely feeling the cabin fever over here, but trying to make the best of it one silly game at a time.

My little man LOVES coming along to Mummy’s sensory classes… but fair warning, he runs a very tight ship 😂 If he demands bubbles twice (or three times… or immediately again), well… the boss has spoken 🫧👶

Not that the other littles are complaining, they’re all secretly on his side anyway 😉

Since opening High Five Kids Idaho in 2023, my heart has been set on creating more than just a space for classes — I wanted a home where every child feels safe, loved, and celebrated. A place where little ones can explore, laugh, grow, and build connections that truly matter. 💛 🌈

There’s something so magical about seeing the world through their eyes — like the wonder of bubbles floating by for the very first time, the joy of giggles shared with a new friend, or watching friendships blossom in class that carry on long after. Those are the moments that make my heart full and remind me why I love what I do. ✨

Watching this dream come to life has been such a gift, and I couldn’t be more proud of how far we’ve come. None of it would be possible without the incredible families, friends, and cheerleaders who have believed in this journey.
