As this Father's Day comes to an end, I just like to mention I've met some of the best fathers, had one myself and also have been witness to many boys who have grown up to become great fathers themselves.

Many of these men have lived and loved and were from "the projects."

Don't believe the hype there are still great men amongst us. Men who know that while $$ is nice, it's not everything. The gift of your presence, support and love means so much more.

Snow days like this make me miss the old neighborhood. We were never at a lost trying to find a hill in Chamberlain Heights. My personal favorites were the 2 through the woods. The first being the path that led up to Hollis Dr. and the 2nd one in the park that led to Springdale Ave.
