Good Evening Jeff West/Meriden Community! I'm happy to announce that I am running for Position 7 on the USD 340 School Board. As a graduate of Jefferson West, Class of '07, and living here over the last 10 years, this place is HOME. I was fortunate to meet my wife Tara here, and we are blessed with three amazing children, all of which, are/or will be apart of the JW School District. Since I have been back in Meriden, I have progressively become more involved with the schools and community in many ways. Over the last few years, I have been heavily involved in supporting and now a part of the Jeff West Education Foundation, as well as, a mentor program soon to roll out. Both of which positively impacts our teachers and students. My goal as a board member is to help continue to create an environment where students can thrive and become the best version of themselves. I also want to help continue to make JW a place where teachers love to be and share their gift of teaching and impacting students. There are a handful of teachers at JW that made the biggest impact on me as a student and I will always be grateful for that.
