STATE RECORD!

Jefferson West (3A, 5-1) sophomore quarterback Brixton Schwinn made Kansas history Friday night, throwing nine touchdown passes in the Tigers’ victory over Hiawatha.

Schwinn broke the Kansas 11-man single-game record of eight touchdown passes, set by Sacred Heart’s Steve Sheahon in 1975. The record had stood for 51 years.

Nine touchdown passes and he’s only a sophomore. He threw seven against Holton last week 🤯
