Congratulations!

🤯 It’s not every day that the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) tags you in a post! We are still pinching ourselves after seeing their official Instagram tag! 🤩

We are so proud to announce that Liam Pullens, a 2025 graduate from our Photo and Cinema Department, has received the prestigious Best Student Director Award from the National Student Production Awards!

This is a national award given to only one student in the entire country, and the recognition from NATAS highlights the high caliber of work coming from our students. We could not be more proud to have been represented in this highly esteemed competition.

A massive congratulations to Liam and the entire SYD team on this truly huge and well-deserved achievement!

My oldest grandson Liam had a super big weekend. Only second time in 12 years Barbara Ingram School for the Arts has won the best high school student film award at the Maryland International Film Festival!
