Save the date to come with us to "A World of Pure Imagination" at our Halloween Trunk-or-Treat! On Saturday, October 31 from 3:30-5:30pm, we'll bring the activities, crafts, and fun and you bring the costumes, trick-or-treaters, and imagination!

Community groups or individuals interested in joining trick-or-treating are encouraged to call the Library to sign-up in advance.

Don't miss out on the Highway 51 Booze Caravan local history talk with Blaze Burton. THIS Friday, we're diving into the lost story of the efforts to smuggle booze into Northwoods taverns during Prohibition.

Blaze is back at it with another chapter of Iron County history! On October 9 from 5:30-6:30pm, join us for a presentation on the attempt by 1920s tavern owners to smuggle booze to the Northwoods.

This event is free and open to the public; Zoom will be available for virtual attendance. The program will be recorded and made available afterwards.

What a wonderful Saturday afternoon at the Mercer Library Fall Celebration! The sun came out just in time, giving us a beautiful afternoon to enjoy great live music, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of fun with our Silent Auction, Book Basket Raffle, Dine Around, and Mystery Prize drawings.

Thank you to the 160+ guests who joined us and helped make the day such a success! And a HUGE thank you to our sponsors, donors, volunteers, Library Board of Trustees, and library staff. So many people contributed their time, talents, donations, and hard work to make this event possible.
