Today we begin a brand-new school year with one prayer at the center of it all:
That we would walk worthy of the Lord.
Not that every day will be perfect.
Not that every lesson will come easily.
Not that we will always get it right.
But that in our classrooms, friendships, conversations, choices, teaching, learning, serving, and growing—we would seek to please Him.
Our school-year verse, Colossians 1:10, reminds us what we want this year to be about:
•Bearing fruit in every good work.
•Growing in the knowledge of God.
•Walking in a way that honors Him.
As we open our doors for the first day, our prayer is that God would use every teacher, every student, every lesson, every challenge, and every little moment to grow something beautiful.
Here’s to a year of learning, growing, serving, and discovering more of who God has called us to be.
