Emmanuel Day School EDS is a play-based, non-profit, non-religious preschool on Mercer Island - celebrating over 55 years of helping children love learning and life.

Our mission is to nurture the emotional, social, and intellectual growth of each child by providing stimulating experiences in a loving environment. Our program provides an environment for varied learning experiences led by trained teachers in a well-equipped facility. The curriculum is aimed at developing social, language, mathematical and physical skills, including both fine and gross motor skil

ls. A variety of art, music, creative dramatic play and environmental experiences are explored. Our aim is to create the best possible “first school experience” and zest for learning and life.

We’re excited to invite you to walk with Emmanuel Day School in the Mercer Island Summer Celebration Parade on Saturday, July 12, 2025!

Let’s come together to show our school spirit and be part of this fun, family-friendly event. Wear your Emmanuel gear, decorate a wagon, bike/scooter, stroller, and help us represent our wonderful school in the heart of the community!

🕘 Line-Up Time: 9:30 AM
🎉 Parade Begins: 10:00 AM

Everyone is welcome—students, siblings, parents, and alumni! The more the merrier as we walk, wave, give out candy/stickers and celebrate all that makes Emmanuel Day School special.
