Please join us in welcoming Siobhan Miller, our new 6th Grade homeroom teacher!

Siobhan is thrilled to be joining the St. Monica Catholic School community as our incoming Middle School Humanities teacher this Fall. She is an alumna of Holy Names Academy, where she recently completed a long-term substitute teaching position in their Theology department. Siobhan graduated summa cm laude from California Polytechnic State University in 2022, where she majored in history, with minors in music and child development. She completed her Masters in Teaching degree at the University of Washington in 2025 and holds teaching certificates in secondary school social studies, history, and English/language Arts.

After graduating from Cal Poly, Siobhan served a six-month Teaching with Primary Sources internship at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, where she used primary sources from the Library of Congress archives to create a teaching resource for elementary and secondary school students about women in the military, specifically the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs), during World War II, which is still in use at the Library of Congress as well as available online for educators across the U.S. Additionally, Siobhan has worked as a teacher at multiple schools in Seattle, including for Seattle Public Schools and the Archdiocese of Seattle, and as a museum educator at the Museum of Flight.

In her spare time, Siobhan enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, attending theatre and music concerts, and petting her cats.
