The Pebble Preschool at MIPC We are an amazing preschool in Mercer Island, Washington. Our curriculum recognizes that children learn best by doing.

To encourage active learning, we use the latest educational and brain research on how children learn and the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) standards of content area. Position: Teacher (Co-Lead or Assistant) for a classroom of up to 10 children, ages 2–3. This position partners with another teacher and may serve in either a co-lead or assistant role, depending on classroom needs.

Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (MIYFS) and MI Parent Edge are collaborating with King County Sexual Assault Resource Center to provide a parent education program on having conversations with their students around personal safety.

Titled, “Moving Beyond Stranger Danger: Personal Safety Conversations for Today’s Youth,” MIYFS has confirmed a program date of December 8 from 6:30-8:00pm at the MI Community and Events Center. The presentation is appropriate for parents and caregivers of children in kindergarten through 12th grade. We encourage our community to take part in the education program.
