Good morning, the day is here. Hope to see everyone at some point this weekend. Here are some last minute details, the gentlemen bringing trucks the parade is lining up on 5th street be there by 5:15. Tonight, try to wear Tiger colors, Friday reunion shirts/Halloween costumes, Saturday Fall & beach all at the same time. The tickets for the game are general admission, we will just sit on north side. Some ground rules for this weekend. Rule # 1-Have fun and enjoy. Rule #2-Always refer to rule # 1.

Next Saturday weather at SPI low of 72 with a high of 81. Looks like it’s going to be really nice. People have been reaching out about game tickets. They go on sale tomorrow at
http://events.hometownticketing.com. Since everything is online they are not reserving sections for us. Class of 1996 try to buy your tickets on the northern most side. The 1st section on north side rows 10-20. That way we could all sit together. I will need counts for dinner at Louis Back Yard so they can reserve an area for us. Please respond to this. Los vemos el Thursday at the Parade. The guys with the trucks need to be there by 5:15. Who needed the reminder to wash their truck! S**c and Span!

Sorry so late everyone, people have been reaching out about Saturday so here are the details. Only starting early for those that want to watch UT game:
11:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m. UT Watch party vs. Vanderbilt back bar of Courtyard Marriott.
2:00-5:00 beach get together behind courtyard/claytons. Bring chairs and canopies.
3:00-4:00 moment of silence, prayer and sharing of memories for classmates that have gone before us. All are encouraged and invited to share.
7:00-9:00 Dinner Louise Backyard/ gonna need RSVP for seating. We will have access to buffet menu, restaurant menu, and bar menu.
9:00-2:00- Longboards.

Buenas Tardes Classmates, here is the plan for Friday October 31, 2025, with exact times. We can start arriving to the school at 1:30. At 2:00 p.m. is the reception in the cafeteria with campus tours to follow. The pep rally starts at 3:15 in the new gym. From what I understand some classmates are performing. After the pep rally we can head to Chili’s for happy hour and appetizers. The game will start at 7:30 p.m. I will get you ticket information on Monday. After the game it will be time for social #2. It will be at Señor Barbas on South Texas in Weslaco. It’s an indoor outdoor bar with music drinks and food. They will have seating for us. That’s day 2 peeps! It will be Halloween so if you want to wear a costume to Barbas dale gas! I know I will!

Buenas Noches MHS Class of 1996, we are two weeks away from the start of our 30th reunion! Thursday October 30, 2025 at 5:30 pm is parade line up! It is right in front of bank on Texas! Parade starts at 6:00 pm to the High School for burning of the M! We need class of 96 signs, posters, party favors, noise makers, todo el p**o! I know Mike said he has a truck. We need two more! We then head to the American Legion for social #1. You can take your own bottle, but you have to buy set ups and all other beverages there. Formacios is around the corner if you get hungry! That is day 1 peeps! Ask for your days, get your babysitter, and get ready to partake in some fun!

Buenas Noches class of 1996! Reunion is exactly one month away. I talked to the school and let them know the class of 96 is coming home! October 30th-November 2nd make plans if your joining! We do need some trucks for the parade on the 30th. I need RSVP for the school visit and pep rally for seating. Football game ticket information is coming soon. The Friday Night venue is yet to be determined, waiting on capacity and SPI on Saturday! I will need counts for SPI dinner so we can have the seating. WOW, 30 years in the making and most of us look almost the same!

Buenas noches class of 1996, Happy Labor Day Weekend. We are 2 months away from the reunion and we hope to see you all October 30, 2025! We will begin to ask for numbers on attendees just so we’re able to have adequate space at venues. Let’s make it a good one!

Alright Tigers, on Thursday October 30th is the official kickoff to our 30th reunion! We are 3 months away, WOW where has the time gone! Ok peeps, on the 30th we will need trucks or if anyone has a trailer so we can be in the parade to the bonfire! Let’s make some signs and have fun with it. Once the bonfire is over we will take the party to where our 20th reunion ended, the American Legion. Anyone hungry can order from Formacios, you can buy your coldies from the legion and bring your own bottles but you have to buy your set ups. They will have music and karaoke! That is the plan for day one! Puro class of 1996!

Happy 4th of July Class of 1996! I pray all is well. We have a little under 4 months before our 30th reunion. Just a reminder we stay in the mid valley for October 30th and 31st and head to SPI on November 1st. Start booking you SPI hotel planning, and getting ready. Quick question, anyone know anybody that can make our shirts and design! October will be here before you know it!
