🎀 Paint the Town Pink with MAA! 🎀

Mercedes Academic Academy is proud to participate in our annual Paint the Town Pink community event!

📅 Wednesday, October 7
⏰ 5:30 p.m.
📍 Texas Avenue

Our MAA students will help tie pink ribbons along Texas Avenue to raise breast cancer awareness and show support for survivors, fighters, and families affected by breast cancer. 💗

Students interested in volunteering are encouraged to sign up and join us as we come together to make a difference in our community.

This week, we are proud to spotlight Luis Lopez and his future career goal of becoming an Underground Driller! ⛏️

“My name is Luis Lopez, and when I graduate, I want to become an underground driller. I chose this career path because I want to follow in my father’s footsteps. I have always looked up to him and have seen how successful he has been. My dad has given me opportunities to get on the machines and gain hands-on experience. I want to thank my family, friends, and MISD for all the opportunities and support they have given me.”

Luis is already connecting his future goals with real-world experience. We are proud to see our Tigers thinking ahead and preparing for life after high school! 🧡🖤
