Mercedes ISD SHAC and Child Nutrition Services (CNS) representatives recently attended the SHAC Policy to Practice Workshop at the Texas A&M Health Nursing Education and Research Building in McAllen. The workshop provided valuable information and resources to help strengthen our SHAC program, enhance wellness initiatives, and support the health and well-being of our students and staff.

What a fantastic day filled with talent, energy, and Tiger Pride! Clinic participants spent the day learning new routines, building confidence, making new friends, and having fun alongside the Mercedes Debonnaires. The excitement continued during the showcase as participants took center stage!

Pool play will determine advancement to the Championship Bracket on Saturday, June 27.

Mercedes ISD's very own 1986 Mercedes Tigers State Finalist Baseball Team is now part of the Rio Grande Valley Sports Hall of Fame. 👏🐅 This special recognition honors a remarkable group of athletes and coaches whose hard work, determination, and success left a lasting impact on our school district and community.

Forty years after their historic season, the accomplishments of the 1986 Tigers continue to inspire future generations of student-athletes and serve as a reminder of the power of teamwork, perseverance, and Tiger Pride. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor! We are !

🦋🌿 Learning came to life for our GT Summer Camp students during a recent wildlife field trip! Elementary students had the opportunity to interact with a variety of animals while exploring the natural world, sparking curiosity and creating memorable learning experiences along the way. Way to go, Tigers! 🐾
