Amelia Wood is a third-year biological sciences student from Stockton, CA. Her experience as a UC Merced student connected her to an opportunity with CalTeach UC Merced. During the virtual Bobcat Summer STEM Academy, she led elementary school students in several week-long classes based on STEM topics.

UC Merced Center for Educational Partnerships (CEP) through the TRIO programs is partnering with various schools in the Central Valley to implement a series of academic enrichment activities focused on Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, Foreign Language, History and Social Cultural Studies.
CEP is in need of academic tutors preferably strong in mathematics. The tutors would be responsible for tutoring 9-12 grade high school students at either LeGrand or Delhi High Schools in the subject area of math.
