We have openings for part-time and drop-in childcare M-F, 8:15am to 12:15pm. (and some extended hours are possible on a day by day basis for drop-ins).

We have indoor and outdoor play areas, a mud kitchen & digging pit, dress up corner, loft and slide, reading nook, music corner, art wall, sensory bins, fort couches and fairy garden.

As always, we are 100% child-led play, because that is where all the magic happens! I set out various opportunities for them to engage in, they choose what and how they engage. Research shows that when a child is free to choose and self-direct their own play in this way from their own intrinsic motivation (as opposed to being told what, how, and when to play) that a child's learning lasts longer and is of a greater depth. This is how we are wired to develop! But sadly, the opportunities for this kind of explorative play are becoming more and more rare.

This is my passion at Let Them Be Little, to give children the space to enjoy the wonder and freedom of childhood, and support parents along the sacred journey of parenthood!

I'm working on a book!! I'm a paradigm shifter and this project is for the children... for the children of today, for children we were and still hold deep inside us, for the children of tomorrow.

I envision a more free and loving world and I believe that happens first in childhood... In how we treat, value and see the children around us. I have a vision for a book that can lay out the steps for us, but I need your help!

I'm looking for people who want to share their childhood experiences around play, their sense of having freedom (or lack thereof), sense of self, how adults treated you, how school was for you... Basically anything you want to share about how your childhood impacted you both then and now in terms of healing you had to do as an adult, as well as strengths you gained in childhood that still serve you today. I'm especially looking for experiences of neurodiverse individuals.

Wishing everyone a GREAT new school year as you head back to school tomorrow! 🎉 Summer camp is officially over, and I thank you for an amazing summer together!!

We will miss your daily friendship, smiles, laughter and INGENIOUS ideas! It seems we did it all- got messy in the paint and the mud, made our own squishies, sensory bins, and healthy treats, built so many forts and created so much art, made math tests and challenges, created elaborate story lines, built out so many little play businesses complete with pricing guides, currency and coupons! We created new songs and dances, researched things we were curious about, practiced how to stand up for ourselves, learned how to handle conflict confidently, celebrated a few birthdays and even squeezed in THREE field trips!

AND NONE OF IT was planned by me! Child-led play is SO MAGICAL because our our children are magical! I will never lead them in the way I think they need to go- it is my ABSOLUTE JOY and PASSION to create the space and provide the materials for them to take ownership over their own interests! Then I get to just support them and watch them blossom. 🙏💖

Only 2 days in and we're having a blast at Summer Camp! It's not too late to get your littles in on the fun! We have a few spots left for either full-time, part-time or drop-ins.
