Here’s a few of our favorite moments from the night of the performance. ✨🎭

It’s hard to put into words how much work, care, and dedication went into bringing this project to life.

From building sets, rehearsing songs, writing, organizing, creating, and taking a leap on something entirely new, seeing it all finally happen felt like a huge milestone for Treehouse.

One of the most moving parts of the night was getting to see our tutors, team members, and owners step onto the stage themselves. So often we see the work that happens behind the scenes. The planning, late nights, and care they pour into students and community, and this felt like such a special reminder of how much talent and heart exists within this team.

To everyone who performed, volunteered, donated, sponsored, attended, bid in the silent auction, bought raffle tickets, and supported this event in any way: Thank You.

This night felt like a celebration of creativity, community, and what can happen when people build something together.

The amount of talent, heart, and work poured into this show has been incredible to witness. From live performances and music to storytelling, set design, and community collaboration, tonight is truly something special.

We didn’t want to reveal too much before the curtain rises… but here’s a little preview before the audience gets to experience it live.

Right about now, the lights are dimming, the cast is getting ready backstage, and this entire world everyone built together is about to come to life. 💛

Over the last few days, so many people came together to help build the world of When I Grow Up… Painting sets, moving walls, building trees by hand, and transforming the space piece by piece into tonight’s performance.

What makes this show so special is how deeply community-built it truly is. Every detail has been created with care by people who believe in arts education, creativity, and giving young people a space to dream bigger.

Tonight is the night.

Every person in this cast brings something different to the stage, different stories, different dreams, and different reasons for creating.

For one night only, this community-built cabaret comes together at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center to tell a story about growing up, growing older, and continuing to ask ourselves who we want to become.

These performers have poured their hearts into this show, and we cannot wait for you to experience it with us.
