Stone Ridge Christian Stone Ridge Christian School is a fully accredited, faith-based, PK-12 school in Merced County, CA

Stone Ridge Christian is more than just an institution of learning; it is a place where young men and women from Christian families gather for academic, spiritual, personal, social, and physical development. This is accomplished best when the church, home, and school all work together in teaching, training, and encouraging our young people for effective service to the Lord. Just as Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with all men (Luke 2:52), we too encourage our young people to do the same. This means we encourage the development of maturity and responsibility in all of our students. Maturity and responsibility do not mean just following and obeying rules but striving to do God’s will in every situation. It means seeking to do what is right, looking to help and encourage others, and building up the entire body not just one’s self.

CHAPEL THURSDAYS | You're not too young.

This week in High School Chapel, Pastor Isaac from The Hope Church, challenged our students to think about the excuses that can keep us from fully following God: I’m not good enough. I’m not smart enough. I’m not strong enough. I’m not “Christian enough.” And for many young people, one of the biggest can be: “I’m too young.”

God used young men and women—including Jeremiah, David, Mary, Timothy, and even Jesus’ disciples—in powerful ways. The world may have seen their youth as a limitation, but God did not.

The reminder for our students: You are not too young for God to use you. No matter your age, He can work through your life to make a difference.

SEPTEMBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH AWARDS

At our first Student of the Month Chapel, we had the joy of recognizing one student from each class who demonstrated the character trait of trustworthiness.

We are so proud of these students for the way they lead by example, make good choices, and show others what it looks like to be dependable and honest in both big and small ways.

Congratulations to all of our Student of the Month recipients! We’re grateful for our teachers who encourage and support them each day, and we love celebrating the Christ-centered character being built in our students at SRC.

RALLY RECAP: THE RACE FOR THE KNIGHT CUP IS ON! 🎉

Last Friday, our high school students brought the energy as each class battled for Knight Cup Points on the road to Homecoming! From laser tag to a good old-fashioned Lady Knights vs. Faculty volleyball showdown, there was no shortage of competition or school spirit.

The Lady Knights walked away with the volleyball win, but our faculty definitely made them work for it! And congratulations to the classes that picked up some rally wins and added points to their totals! 👏

And what are they competing for right now? The 1st Quarter prize is... DUTCH BROS! ☕️

Keep dressing up, showing up, competing hard, and bringing that Knight Pride!
Which class is taking the Knight Cup lead next? 👀🏆
