It’s been a while since the high school football season ended, but Merced County fans will get a chance to watch some of the area’s best players in two all-star games this month.
The 3rd annual Merced County All-Star Football Classic will be played Saturday at Golden Valley High, featuring a girl’s flag football game at 5:30 p.m. and a boys 11-man game at 7:30 p.m.

The South 11-man football team features players from Merced, El Capitan, Golden Valley, Stone Ridge Christian and Los Banos, and will be coached by El Capitan’s Xavier Ramirez. The North will feature players from Atwater, Buhach Colony, Livingston, Delhi and Hilmar, and be coached by Hilmar’s Frank Marques.

Last night at the Merced County Fair Rodeo, our SRC Football 🏈 team had the privilege of catching the American flag as it parachuted into the arena and proudly waving it during the National Anthem.

The team will have the honor of doing it again tonight (Saturday), June 13th at 7:30 PM at the Merced County Fair Rodeo! Everyone is invited to come out and support both our Knights and local professional rodeo!

The display of patriotism, faith, and community spirit that is such a strong part of professional rodeo is truly inspiring.

Our Elementary Track Team finished off their Track Season with the Snelling Track Meet on our last day of school!🏃‍♀️🏃 It was a beautiful day, filled with lots of cheering and motivation by our parents, coaches and teamates! 👏🤗 Our students did amazing and walked away with many awards and. ribbons!🏆
Both our Boys and Girls 10 & Under 4x1 Relay teams earned 1st place trophies!🏆Our Track team earned a 1st place trophy for our 10 & under and 2nd place trophy for our 11&12 Division!🏆
We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of our track students and for pushing through even when they didn't think they had anything left!! 👏🤩 Thank you again to our Amazing Coaches, for your dedication and commitment to our track students this season! Elementary Fun & Field Day!!🥳💧 Our 1st-5th Grade students had a blast during our Fun & Field Day during the last week of school! Tug-o-War, Limbo, Wet Sponge Race 🧽 and Hula Hoop Lasso, just to name a few! 💧We had a wonderful school year and our students got to celebrate that on this special day!🥳🤗

Just before we finished the school year our 3rd graders had an AMAZING day at the De Jager Vista Verde Dairy for their field trip! 🐄🥛🚜

Students enjoyed a fun hay tractor ride, got to see adorable day-old calves, and learned all about where our milk comes from. It was such a hands-on experience filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

A huge thank you to De Jager Vista Verde Dairy for welcoming us and teaching our students about life on the dairy farm! 🌾🐮

🎉🤗 During the last week of school, we had an exciting Staff vs. Students kickball game, and what a fun time it was! With more students than staff, a few students even joined the staff team to help balance things out. In both the K–2 and 3–5 games, the staff came out victorious! 🏆

It was a wonderful way to celebrate the final week of school and create lasting memories with our students. Thank you to everyone who participated and the students who cheered us on!

This school year we were thrilled to celebrate with our students and their grandparents during our very first School Color Run on Grandparents Day!🎉🌈
From start to finish, the day was filled with laughter, smiles, colorful fun, and special memories shared across generations.
Thank you to our Amazing Parent Club for putting on this tremendous event! Thank you to all of our grandparents, families, staff, and volunteers who helped make this event such a success! Watching our students and their loved ones run, cheer, and celebrate together was truly heartwarming. Our students raised over $18,000 for a special Elementary Playground feature for the upcoming school year!
We can't wait to make this colorful tradition even bigger and better in the years to come! ❤️💙💚💛🧡💜
