Color Meanings in the Luther Rose
Black (The Cross): A black cross sits in the center of the heart. It represents faith in Jesus Christ crucified, reminding believers that Christ's sacrifice saves us, and acknowledging the pain and mortification of sin.
Red (The Heart): The heart stays its natural red color. It symbolizes the human heart alive with faith, love, joy, and peace brought by the gospel, showing that the cross gives new life rather than death.
White (The Rose): The rose itself is white instead of red. White represents the color of angels and heavenly spirits, signifying that faith gives the believer comfort, peace, and a joy like that of heavenly spirits.
Sky-Blue (The Field): The white rose rests on a sky-blue background. Blue represents the color of the sky and heaven. It symbolizes that a joyful spirit and earthly faith are only the beginning of future heavenly joy.
Gold / Yellow (The Ring): A golden ring surrounds the entire emblem. Gold represents the most precious of metals and signifies that heavenly blessedness and eternal life last forever without end

Yesterday our congregation got to meet a potential Pastor for our Church. Please pray that God's Will be done. If this is the Pastor that is what God thinks we need then let that happen. If it is not God's Will then pray HE sends us someone that is the perfect fit. ALSO, Pray for that Pastoral if a call is placed. They will need God's guidance on the decision.
