Merced City School District serves approximately 12,000 students from preschool through eighth grade with a mission to ensure that every student excels academically, builds character, and becomes a productive member of our community.
In order to do more for our students, the district has established a non-profit education foundation that will serve as a primary vehicle for attracting and receiving cash, grants, services,and appropriate gifts, exclusively for the benefit of Merced City School District, its students, staff, programs and activities. Representatives of the Foundation serve as advocates and ambassadors of Merced City School District in the attainment of the district’s vision, goals, objectives and philosophy.
