Dear Students,

Would you like to contribute to a study on air pollution in the San Joaquin Valley, and potentially own a free air monitor? The new San Joaquin Valley Center for Air Injustice Reduction (SJV-CAIR) at UC Merced is increasing citizen-science air monitoring in our region. Right now we are focused on certain zip codes in the Stockton and Fresno areas to create a larger grid of low-cost Purple Air monitors and then we will compare the citizen-science monitoring information to the monitoring done by government agencies. If you live in one of the zip codes below and are possibly interested in participating, please fill out the attached google form. We provide the air monitors for free!

If you do not live in these zip codes but know someone who does, please feel free to forward this email to them.
