📢 Video contest for all high-school students nationwide! The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) invites students to explore the world of modern manufacturing and showcase exciting career opportunities through short original videos.

The theme of the contest is "Manufacturing in Motion: Skill. Technology. Opportunity."

Students in grades 9th - 12th can submit an original 4-6 minute video featuring things like:

➡️ Interviews
➡️ Demonstrations
➡️ Testimonials
➡️ Industry Partnerships

to highlight the value of manufacturing, innovation, and teamwork.

🏆 The winners will be chosen by the MSSC Senior leadership team and will receive a cash prize along with a CPT 4.0 Course License + CPT Instructor Training.

Industrial Arts didn't disappear; it evolved. The foundational skills are still there, but programs today are expanding into automation, AI, mechatronics, robotics, CNC machining, computer science, and more.

As technology and industry continue to evolve, technical education needs to evolve with them. Preparing students for the future means building on those foundational skills while introducing the technologies that will shape their careers.

👏 A well-deserved recognition in celebration of decades of leadership, perseverance, and pioneering the advancements of technical education. This week, our Chairman Emeritus, Dale Kirchner, received the Outstanding Learnship Award from FANUC America Corporation, presented by Executive Director Paul Aiello.

Dale created a standard and legacy that our teams at LAB Midwest, ATS Midwest, and Mission Learning Systems continue to carry forward today.

His commitment to technical education and creating opportunities for students and educators has made an impact that extends beyond our organization.

We are incredibly proud to see Dale recognized for the lasting impact of his leadership and life's work.

Hands-on Training + Clear Growth Pathways = Highly Skilled & Engaged Employees.

Telling current or potential employees there will be opportunities to grow isn't enough. Michael Foods has cracked the code on creating careers, not just jobs, because they can show any technician at their facility the skills, knowledge, and steps they need to progress within the organization.

The hands-on trainers and eLearning from Amatrol Inc. have allowed the team at Michael Foods to create this training facility and a turnkey program they can implement in more locations as the program and demand grow.

The line-up of speakers was top-tier. All the breakout sessions were impactful and relevant, and after spending two days absorbing insights from industry and educational leaders paving the way for change, we're excited to take what we've learned and keep the momentum going.
