Meet the Musicians at The Musikgarten:

Located near the Culture Village on the NORTH end of the festival grounds, The Musikgarten features some amazing bands, groups, and musicians!

⭐Alpine Echoes Alphorn (The German Band, Inc.)
Hailing from Portage, Indiana, this group plays the classics of the Alps on their Alphorns.

⭐Karen Carmody
Accordionist playing an enjoyable selection of classic tunes.

⭐Peggy Mueller and Friends
A traditional Austrian and Bavarian Volksmusik group who loves to interact with the audience!

⭐ POLKA JOEL Kieckhaefer
A strolling musician, playing polkas, waltzes, and other music on his button box accordion.

⭐Pommersche Tanzdeel Freistadt Band, Music from Pomerania

Performing folk music from the Prussian province of Pomerania in northern Germany and also other folk songs from the German speaking regions of northern Europe.

Today’s the day — it’s Pommerntag!

Join us at Rotary Park in Mequon this afternoon for a celebration of Pomeranian culture and history.

Catch our youth dancers performing at 12:45, flag-raising ceremony at 2:00, adult dancers performing at 2:45, and musicians performing at 4:30. Times are approximate.

TOMORROW! The 49th annual Pommerntag will take place from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Mequon Rotary Park. Since 1978, the Pommerscher Verein Freistadt has done a tremendous job preserving Pomeranian heritage and culture in Wisconsin.

The Pommerntag is a great event to attend for learning about Pomeranian history, music, food, and genealogy. Enjoy performances from The Freistadt Alte Kameraden, the Pommersche Tanzdeel Freistadt, and Peggy Hacker Mueller. The Pommerntag is an event you don’t want to miss.

Pommerntag then… and now!

Join us this Sunday afternoon as we bring Pomeranian history to life at the annual Pommerntag (“Pomeranian Day”) festival at Rotary Park in Mequon.

Our musicians and all of our dancers will be performing, and PTF will have our merch table out if you’d like to get your own Pommern shirt or stein!

Admission and parking are free.
