💚 Smiles & Files Day! 💚
What a great day at Lumen Christi! Our students dropped off their school supplies, met their teachers, and got a first look at their classrooms for the year ahead. It was so wonderful to see familiar faces and welcome so many new ones to our Lumen Christi family! 📚✨

⚠️ LC families — we need your help! ⚠️

We're going to need a lot of help to get the school grounds ready for the new school year! Come help THIS Saturday, August 22 from 9-11 AM. We will be spreading playground mulch, weeding, and trimming bushes. Great volunteer opportunity for families, and can count towards any MS/HS service hours. Please bring your work gloves and tools, especially weeding and trimming tools.

As the school year comes to a close, we celebrated one of our sweetest milestones—the graduation of our 5K friends! 🎓💚✨

These young learners have grown so much this year, building friendships, developing new skills, and discovering a love of learning. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and can’t wait to see them continue their journey as 1st graders next fall.

Congratulations, 5K graduates! The future is bright, and we know you’ll do amazing things. 🌟

🌈🏅 Rainbow Olympics 2026 🏅🌈

What a day! Our students teamed up across grade levels for our annual Rainbow Olympics, building friendships, displaying teamwork, and making memories.

A huge thank you to our teachers, Home & School volunteers, and 8th grade leaders who helped make this day so much fun. Special thanks goes out to PE teacher Mrs.Hiller for organizing the entire event. What a wonderful way to celebrate another amazing year at Lumen Christi!

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Last week, our students placed flags on display at the church as a small tribute to those who served. If you are out and about today, we invite you to drive by and take a moment to see this meaningful display of remembrance.

Today was one of those moments that reminds us just how special our school community is. 🤍
Our 2nd graders celebrated receiving Communion together as a class during Mass, surrounded by the entire school—a tradition we look forward to each year. While they received their First Holy Communion over the past few weekends, it was so special to celebrate together today.
We are so proud of them as they continue their faith journey.

Our 4K friends had a fresh and fun adventure earlier this week on their field trip to Sendik's Food Market!

Students explored the store and got a behind-the-scenes look at how it all works. A highlight for many was seeing a live lobster up close—sparking lots of curiosity! They also watched fresh orange juice being squeezed right before their eyes, adding a fun (and tasty) touch to the experience.

To top it off, our young learners put their knowledge into action by practicing their checkout skills, showing just how much they’ve been learning in the classroom.

It was a wonderful hands-on experience filled with discovery, learning, and plenty of smiles!
