Today is the last day of our “Adventure Awaits: Embarking on a Journey of Learning” theme, and what an incredible year it has been! We’ve made so many wonderful memories together.

As we close one chapter, we’re getting ready to open another. Tuesday marks the beginning of a brand-new school year at OCC!

Big things are happening in Grafton! 🎉

Our dedicated team worked all weekend to prepare five newly renovated infant and toddler classrooms, opening September 1—in addition to our already licensed classrooms for children ages 2 and up. 💛

We’re excited to welcome our youngest learners and their families into these beautiful new spaces! ✨

There’s something so special about watching our OCC alumni grow up and become caring, compassionate members of our community.

We love seeing these children, who once filled our classrooms with laughter and little footsteps, now giving back and making a difference in the lives of others. We couldn’t be more proud to call them OCC alumni! 💙💚

Our pantry director gave an in-depth look at how Family Sharing stepped up to fill the meal gap that many kids experience during the summer ☀️

Because of our efforts, Family Sharing was awarded a contract to administer the federal Summer Food Service Program - a program that will result in 20,000 healthy meals being distributed to kids come the end of the month 🥪

As summer comes to an end, we’re saying goodbye to so many children who are ready to begin their next chapter. We feel so honored to have been a part of their early years … to watch them learn, grow, make friends, and become the amazing little people they are today.

While saying goodbye is never easy, we are so excited to see where their journey takes them next! Once a part of our OCC family, always a part of our OCC family. 💙💚

Growing in Rest!

Rest is an important part of a child’s day .... not just because it helps little bodies recharge, but because it gives growing brains a chance to slow down, process new experiences, and prepare for more learning and play.

A well-rested child is often better able to focus, regulate emotions, participate, and enjoy their day. 🌱

🌱 Growing in Courage

Our field trip gave us the perfect opportunity to practice being brave! For some of our little ones, jumping off the ledge was a big step outside their comfort zone. With encouragement from their teachers and friends, they took a deep breath, took the leap, and discovered they could do it!

Growing in Language 🌱

Before children even speak their first words, they are already learning how to communicate. Through simple signs, gestures, sounds, and expressions, they begin to tell us what they need and how they feel. Every little sign is a step toward finding their voice!
