Several occupational therapy faculty were trained in the post-implant therapy protocol for Vivistim clients. Recent AHA guidelines for stroke rehab include paired VNS as best practice for UE rehab for individuals with chronic stroke impairments. Excited to be able to offer this intervention at our Interprofessional Clinic at Concordia University Wisconsin!

We get extra twinning when admissions gives out t-shirts! I love that I come to work somewhere where my co-workers laugh and have fun with me. This truly makes work full of joy and our team feels like a second family! Thanks for being my work-twin Stacey!

Today was our Peabody lab! Students practiced administering this standardized assessment with typically developing children.🌟

Hands-on is one of the best ways for students to develop their clinical skills, especially when it comes to working with complex testing kits and little humans who say no 😉

Middle schoolers from 2 Milwaukee parochial schools came to learn about a variety of health care professions. In the occupational therapy rotation, students got to experience a visual impairment on the driving simulator, practice navigating the environment in wheelchairs and learn how to get dressed using assistive devices. So much fun!
