October is National Principal Month! Let's take a moment to thank our amazing team, Joey Sulsberger and Liz Struebel, for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to the Mequon-Thiensville School District! 📚💙

Our 1st graders had an amazing time exploring the Mequon Nature Preserve this past week!

There’s nothing quite like learning, discovering, and getting fresh air right here in our own "backyard." 🍃✨

Learning outside the classroom! 🌿

Our 4th-grade students spent a wonderful day at Riveredge Nature Center. They explored the riverbanks and discovered what Wisconsin’s ancient past looked like by examining local fossils.

A big thank you to Riveredge Nature Center for an inspiring day of hands-on learning! 🌊🐚

‼️ We are still several volunteers short across all grades for Friday's Wacky Whoosh Fun Run (10/9). ‼️

The goal is to make this more than just a run. We want it to be a fun, memorable experience for our Wildcats, and that takes volunteers to bring the course to life. Bubbles, music, interactive activities, and all of the wacky elements we have planned rely on parent volunteers. 🫶

The more parents we have, the more fun we can add to the course. 🎊

If you are already planning to come cheer your student on, we ask that you consider signing up to volunteer as well. It is a great way to be part of the event and help make it a special day for all of our students. 🙌

We would love to have enough volunteers to make this the most fun and wackiest course yet! 🤪

Thank you for helping us make the Wacky Whoosh Fun Run a day our Wildcats will remember! 🐾💚

And remember... A completed background check through MTSD is required to volunteer for any event. The form only takes a few minutes to fill out and remains valid for three years. Update or complete your background check here: https://www.mtsd.k12.wi.us/volunteer-information

Happy National Custodian Day! 🧹✨

Today, we want to give a massive shoutout to our very own Mr. John who works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming every single day. From morning setups to late-night cleanups, his hard work keeps our school running smoothly.
Thank you Mr. John!

Big congratulations to Mr. Jim and Bus #8 for earning September Bus of the Month! 🚌

Mr. Jim brings the perfect blend of steady structure and genuine warmth to his route every day. While he keeps a calm, serious eye on the road and runs a tight ship, his deep care for our kids shines through in everything he does—especially his wonderful routine of greeting every student individually as they board. 😁

Thank you, Mr. Jim, for your unwavering dedication, safety-first mindset, and the quiet kindness you bring to our school community! 💚🐾
