It's been quite a while since we've been active. Until recently, the possibility of our two main trips has still been there. Now, two disgruntled ladies, Irma and Maria, have wreaked havoc on the people and places we love so much. The British and U.S. Virgin Islands are in horrible circumstances. San Salvador, Bahamas is also. While the earth and
the ocean will heal, please keep the people whose lives and livelihoods have been devastated by these storms in your thoughts and prayers, as they are in mine.

Remember that photo I posted the other day that was just pretty and not a spot on the itinerary? Well this one is really a place we'll be going. It's on the island of Anegada and its really that pretty. We'll be doing walk-in snorkeling. For the intrepid souls, there's a 1 1/2 mile hike along this beach to the next populated area. A hands on exploration of a coral island ecosystem. If you look really, really hard you may be able to see Africa over the horizon. At least that's the next land mass in that direction.

I admit this is not a spot on the agenda. But c'mon, I gotta get the juices flowing.
