"I’m currently hiring for a summer intern and wondering if I could ask for your help getting the word out to the HSMAI chapter members at Stout.

A big focus for our intern will be building out our client database with richer information to help us tailor messaging, as well as working with our account management team to leverage some of the demand generation tools we’ve invested in. All mixed in with a healthy dose of exposure to revenue management concepts/technology, and software as a service selling motions.

Last week we had our second fundraiser of the year! Thank you to everyone who came to support! Special thank you to our VP of fundraising Chloe Pearson for putting the whole event together! Also shoutout to Chloe, Bailey, Addy, and Nayeli for baking some wonderful sweet treats! Also thank you to everyone to helped set up, sell, and close up!

Before thanksgiving break HSMAI members had the wonderful opportunity to attend this years first Pizza with the Pros at Lucette’s Brewing Co. HSMAI members meet Katie Ressie and Peggy Monico and learned valuable information about the hospitality industry specifically events and social media. Thank you to everyone who attended hope to see you at our next event!

Last weekend a few HSMAI members attended the WHLA Conference and Tradeshow. They stayed at the Osthoff Resort and had a great time!

Last week we had a few HSMAI members attend the "Not Leaving Sales to Chance" Training with Tammy Gillis. They spent the morning with Tammy Gillis of Gillis Sales Consulting and learned some of her proven sales techniques. Thank you so much to the HSMAI MN Chapter for hosting this beneficially event!

In our last meeting we had the amazing opportunity to receive a tour of the Cobblestone hotel! Thank you to the general manager Jon Krupke for giving us a behind the scenes tour of this beautiful hotel! We enjoyed learning about your career path and some fun hotel stories! I hope everyone enjoyed the free pizza and drinks! Hope to see everyone at our next meeting on October 20th 🙂
