We had an amazing showing at the Minnesota Electronic Theater 2021 last night with students, faculty and alumni from UW-Stout Game Design & Development Program and UW-Stout BFA in Animation and Digital Media. doing what they do best!

Highlights include Best Independent animation "Turnout" by alum Michael Van Swearingen, runner-up for Best Independent animation "Words" with contributions by our very own Prof Ellie Nikoo, and Best Game Trailer "Witness to the Revolution" from a team of game and animation students lead by Prof Andrew Williams. The competition was high and we had a number of other projects that demonstrated the top-tier talent of our UW Stout - School of Art and Design community!

Our Summer STEAM Experience Animation Track was a great success! 8-12th grade students from all over the country virtually attended a 4 day workshop with UW-Stout animation instructor Jesse Woodward to produce a series of short video segments. You can check out their work below!
