September 2018 Gilbert Creek Survey

AFS went backpack shocking on Gilbert Creek today and had a lot of success. There were lamprey, sculpins, lots of brook trout, and a few huge brown trout! Morgan Abel Tom Myers

AFS Chapter update: Support the Recovering America's Wildlife Act With the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, HR 4647, introduced in the House, we wanted to gather our unit leadership for a call about ways to help support the bill! Please join us on February 7 to learn how your chapter or student subunit can help support the bill! We need your help!

Today we collected the minnow traps we set at Menomin Park. We had success in trapping 3 different fish species! Take a look at a few of the fish.

Congratulations to Kenzie Librande on becoming the new President of UW-Stout's AFS Sub-unit. She has put a lot of time and effort into this organization the last couple years. It's going to be a fun year!
