Today is bittersweet. It's my last day as owner of Sunshine Learning Center. I've decided it's time to retire. I don't know what this next chapter will bring but I've loved the last 21 1/2 years with all of my heart. I knew from first grade that I wanted to be a teacher, but to become a business owner was a very scary decision. I was supported at every crossroads by Kevin and things just kept growing. It has been a blessing to be a part of the lives of so many families. I have been invited to countless birthday parties and high school graduations and I've relished those connections. I know they will continue just in a different form. In the last year, I've had 2 Sunshine alumni join the amazing staff that has supported me at every turn and are one of the biggest reasons my center has thrived. My heart is full and I thank all of you for that!
