Final transition week... already?!
From financial literacy with WESTconsin Credit Union to tours of the Mabel Tainter and Menomonie Public Library, our interns have been soaking up everything our community has to offer. We even squeezed in mock interviews at Goodwill and prep for our final rotations!

Our first transition week was packed full of valuable experiences! We practiced interviews with campus departments, volunteered at Feed My People Food Bank, explored Oakwood Mall for potential employers, learned to navigate public transportation, and enjoyed lunch at Ted’s Pizza.
The highlight of the week was visiting Como Zoo, where we attended a zookeeper talk to gain insight on this career field and caring for Arctic Foxes. What a great first transition week!

We kicked off onboarding with a bang! Campus & community exploration, workplace safety training, new staff orientation, and a safety briefing from the university police department!
