Last week, UW-Stout and UW-Milwaukee's Fostering Success staff partnered with Go Wisconsin to host a webinar for high school counselors, social workers, homeless liaisons, and community-based organizations. The presentation provided an overview of how Fostering Success programs can support eligible students with navigating admissions, financial aid, housing, academic success, making campus connections, and helping them persist and graduate. Registration for our Fostering Success Day Camp is now open! This year's camp will take place on Thursday, June 11th, 2026. For more information and instructions on how to register, please visit our website at https://www.uwstout.edu/life-stout/fostering-success/summer-foster-youth-day-camp

Fostering Success will be hosting an Open House event this Tuesday, March 24th, from 2-4pm! Community members are welcome to stop by to see our new space, chat with staff members about the program, and enjoy some complimentary donuts and coffee. Hope to see you there!

Our students are resilient, determined, and hard-working, but due to recent increases in the cost of tuition and on-campus housing, they need your support more than ever. Your donation will provide FS students with crucial scholarships and emergency financial assistance, which will allow them to continue their college education and overcome unexpected barriers.
This year, you have the option of giving to the StoutProud Fund or a specific program like Fostering Success. If you would like to give directly to Fostering Success, please select 'Other' in the drop-down menu, and use the comment section to write the name of our program.
