I love the opportunity to go on "deep dives" with students about history! In this virtual museum, use the on-screen navigation to peruse multiple exhibits about everything from the history of policing, to the interwar years, to fashion in the 1930's, dating tips, the Great Depression, and more.
Making this virtual museum took most of my summer, but it is SO worth it to watch students click around and really engage with history! Which exhibit is your favorite?

Best moment of today: Upon opening her sealed envelope of “case files,” (an activity to help us review the need for sufficient and relevant reasoning and evidence) a particularly quiet student murmured, “This is actually so cool.”
A quick template on Canva, a search for random portraits, and boom- a worksheet becomes an activity, and a disengaged student comes alive.

My student just beat me at this quiz!! 😱😱😱
The Pew Research Center Study suggests that only 35% of US adults can tell fact from opinion.
Think it should be easy? Take the quiz yourself!
Quiz: How well can you tell factual from opinion statements?
Test your ability to classify 10 news statements as either factual or opinion.
