Thank you for attending the KonMari Organizing Presentation. I am so happy that we've connected.
As I was printing out additional copies for future events, I wanted to check in with you to see how you are doing on your organization journey. My son just moved home from an internship and will be staying here until May or January, so we had to clear some space for his things. I am figuring out where to put those items. It's very exciting to have two college graduations in the near future. Maddie graduates in May and Zach in January-- both from UW Stout. How time flies!
I have two tips I heard recently that I wanted to pass along in case it's helpful. By the way, this is my first time emailing participants. I promise I will not fill your inbox!
Meditation
Wouldn't it be great if we could find a way to do a 5 or 10 minute meditation each day to create inner peace? I find myself getting upset over little things lately, and I want to turn that around. Watching the movie Finding Happiness in Troubled Times with the Dalai Lama on Netflix, I learned the value of meditation. This can reduce anxiety, anger, and depression. This is my short term goal. Anyone want to join me?
Mindowl states, "It takes up to 8 weeks for your brain to start seeing benefits from meditation. These benefits include improved focus, enhanced emotional regulation and control, and better decision-making."

Neat Organizer
I saw the Smart Spin advertisement on television this week, and it looks interesting. I haven't bought this yet, but I like the design. It spins 360 degrees and is transparent, so it's easy to get to things in the back of a shelf. I am wondering if they will come out with different sizes or an expandable design in the future.
