Our Summer Session of classes is over, and we had a blast - literally! We finished our last class of Summer Session on Tuesday late afternoon in Hubertus (where I live), and an hour later, a tornado came through! My family and I are all safe, but being without power for 14 hours was an adventure! I'm glad nothing was damaged other than some trees.

I hope Fall Session is a little less dramatic!

Hubs & I right by home plate, ready to sing the National Anthem tonight!

Teacher Emily sang the National Anthem at the Brewers game tonight! Unfortunately, I'm far on the opposite side from this camera angle. But I was there, and it went well!

Fun tidbit: When we exited the field, we walked right past the Brewers dugout. Joey Ortiz was having a night off, but he was sitting right at the edge of the dugout. He clapped for my group as we walked by, he and I made eye contact, and we exchanged a few words. He's one of my favorite Brewers! So, that was pretty cool!
