1 on 1 Sessions. Bridging the gap for our Mind and Body Functionality! I'm a wife and mother to an amazing family!

Always family first. I know how hectic things can be, so I try to keep schedules flexible for family and clients. I know what it's like to be forced to slow down because something isn't functioning properly. I know how hard it can be just to try and get through daily life. Working "through" the pain may not be the answer...
If you find yourself with hip/back pain, ankle/foot dysfunction, mobilit

y and/or balance issues, tension/tight muscles and nothing else has been working, I look forward to meeting with you.

We as humans are great at criticizing ourselves. We focus on the negative instead of the small positives that can come out of any situation.

Lifestyle Changes are no different. Focusing on something small that you can work on over time for the better can create big changes in the long-term.

This weekend/coming week, just take note of what you spend your days doing. Where are your thoughts? Positive or Negative? What can you adjust daily to help you? Something small...

Examples:

Negative thoughts...

Take a situation and consider one positive that came from your day instead of just the negatives. (Starting those focus shifts will take time, but eventually the brain will rewire to recognize the positives over the negatives.)

If you're wanting to read more...

Keep a book you've been wanting to read or have already started near where you sit. Then set a timer. Start with 10-15mins to read before you do something else.

Drinking more water...

Find a larger water bottle so it doesn't have to be filled as frequently and SIP throughout the day or set an alarm or timer... (There are water apps with presets that can help with this as well.)

Getting more movement into your day...

Set a timer (if possible). Every 15mins, do a lap around the house, do a quick walk down the driveway, etc. (Yes, work constraints may play a role in how this can play into your day.)

Changes don't have to be a lot... especially when you're just starting out. I get it. We're busy.

Make a list of some changes you'd like to see in your life.

Then go through and prioritize the list. Most important to least. You will need to be brutally honest with yourself here. Every stage in life gives different demands. If you have a young family at home or elderly parents you're helping care for, spending a ton of time in the gym working out or hours in the kitchen will probably feel a bit impossible right now.

So, dedicating some time to go over goals and what can be realistic in your current situations can help prevent overload later.

And remember, we are all human, give yourself some grace!

Reach out if you're struggling. Talking it through can help clarify things.

When life throws you through a whirlwind you put your head down and get stuff done.

Once again, Ive completed my continuing education courses and look forward to serving my clients for another couple of years!!

The courses that I either just finished or am still working on will help with action steps for clients and help guide them to reach their goals

Not everyone is the same and all are in different stages of life. You can't work with people all in the same way. Cookie Cutter workouts don't work for everyone.

Many things that were designed for men were "adapted" to women. Our bodies are not designed the same. There's certain training and exercises that women should not be doing that can actually cause more damage to our bodies and joints than we realize. Structural differences, joints, organ sizes, etc will all play a role in how an exercise can be executed or not.

So, If you are doing something that feels off, there may be a deeper, more biological reason. Not all exercises are created equal.
Pay attention to your movement.

And if your programming isn't incorporating Mobility, Strength, some cardiorespiratory, Proprioception (where you are in space), visual/vestibular, Balance, Stress management, etc... you may be missing some vital points that can help you breakthrough where you're struggling.

At Rebalance LLC, we explore restorative movement/work. When we start, we focus on what the nervous system likes, safe ranges of motion and what the current capabilities of the body are. Then, we give you daily/weekly "Activators" to do on your own to keep the momentum going.
If movement is "forced" the system may retaliate and you may end up even more locked down than before.

Give yourself some grace.

Become a detective for your body and abilities.

And be willing to ask questions or ask for help if you aren't sure which direction to go.
