Hi Parents. My name is Kimahna Bruce and I live in Murrieta CA. Earlier this year I took a break from my career as a Public Safety Dispatcher. Believe me I love my career but I also have 3 children of my own. My oldest Liahna is 13 and my son Justin is 11. I had them when I was in my early twenties and because of the demands of my career I missed out on a lot if their babyhood. For a new mom that
was a horrible feeling. Three years ago I had my last blessing Audrey. She has been nothing but pure happiness in our lives. She has a smile that will lighten the night. I will say that being a emergency dispatcher is one of the most rewarding, gratifying, selfless jobs to have. I loved what I did even though it meant not being home with my own family. I married my high school sweetheart. this year we have been together for 18 years. I love my life. In the last few years I started to feel like their was something for me that I would also enjoy, I just couldn't put my finger on it. I've kinda always have had it in the back of my mind to open a day care in my home. The past 16 years I got to see my coworkers and closed friends deal with the challenges of having to balance raising children and working the night shift. I always said " how come no one has night time childcare"? well the answer for that is that no one really like being up all night long accept people who are use to it. I have worked majority of my career on nights. That's just how it is. When I finally made the decision to stay at home that is when i started applying for my license. I followed every rule, protocol, got my house in complete order, and started taking all my certification classes. No I do not have a degree in childcare, and no I am not a board certified teacher. But what I do have, is a loving home, wonderful well rounded children, a supportive husband and family. I have nothing but my time to give to be fully devoted to helping parents who work the night shift. I also have some of the best experiences in every situation. I have been trained for the unimaginable, the scariest and the sweetest moments in someones life. I have a lot to give and I choose being around the funniest people in the world.
