In official business taken by the Principals of the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC), the requirements for attaining the recognition of Academic All Conference have been changed. Starting with the 2026-2027 school year, to receive Academic All Conference recognition, one must letter in at least two Varsity Sports and achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher. We at MHS felt it was important to get this information out early so there would be no confusion at the end of the year when these awards are given. We are confident that MHS will be well represented again this year.

What a great first day at MHS. The day started with an assembly. After opening remarks from Mr. Masini and student council president Gavin Stevenson we heard an inspirational message from Eddie Slowikowski complete with lots of dancing. After the assembly, the seniors got together for their last first day of school picture. Enjoy the weekend and don’t forget about Meet the Trojans tonight at 6:00 in the gym.

This is a reminder that our first day of school at MHS begins tomorrow with a brief homeroom at 8:00. We look forward to seeing everyone! There is still some construction going on at the school so please stay away from all construction equipment and as always drive safely. Let’s have another great school year!

We must delay our new field turf and track installation until the end of the fall football and soccer seasons. Supply chain issues pushed back the planned start date. Work will begin after the fall seasons conclude. Thank you for your patience.

Due to construction, the MHS Stadium will be closed from Monday, August 3rd through Saturday, August 22nd. Please contact fall coaches, Mendota Trojan Athletics and Mendota High School Band for updates to practices and locations. Stay tuned for the replacement of the original 2011 Field Turf!

MHS would like to thank the Class of 1976 for their donation of a wonderful Profusion Crabapple Tree. This tree will help keep our campus beautiful for years to come.
