🎉 What an unforgettable night! Last night, our elementary school community came together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, and it was an absolute **huge success**!
From the incredible sounds of the live **mariachi band** and breathtaking traditional dances to the amazing Ixcali Tacos LLC and the crowd-favorite **piñatas**, every moment was filled with joy, culture, and community spirit. 🌮💃🎶
A massive **THANK YOU** to every single family, staff member, and student who came out to celebrate with us. Your energy and support made this night truly special!

We celebrated **National Bike & Walk to School Day**, and our school was filled with energy, smiles, and so much fun! From biking and walking with friends to spending time together as a school community, it was the perfect way to start the day. 🚲👟☀️

And the fun didn’t stop there! 🚒🔥 Our **local fire department** came out to visit with our students and provide some important, hands-on fire safety education. Our Cougars had a great time learning, asking questions, and getting an up-close look at the fire truck and the important work our firefighters do for our community.

At Mendota, our days are always **packed with fun, learning, connection, and uplifting experiences!** ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make today so special—and to our amazing firefighters for spending time with our students!

🐾 **Learning, laughing, moving, and growing together at Mendota!**
