Name: Chloe Jandre

Role: 6th Grade Math, Science, and Social Studies Teacher at Maplewood Intermediate

Hometown: Ham Lake, Minnesota

A little about me: I am so excited to be joining the Maplewood team! I’m originally from Minnesota, but moved to Wisconsin to attend UW-La Crosse, where I earned dual certifications in Early/Middle Education and Special Education. I officially made Wisconsin home when I married my husband two years ago. This will be my third year teaching, after spending the past two years in the Fond du Lac School District, first as a 7th grade math teacher and then as an 8th grade special education teacher. Outside of school, I love spending time in nature, traveling, playing with our golden retriever named Nash, cooking, and enjoying time with family and friends. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year at Maplewood and getting to know my students and families!

Their generous donation provided safety goggles for our Tech Ed classrooms and headphones for students, helping make sure our students have the tools they need to learn, create, and succeed.

Hometown: Menasha, WI

A bit about me: I grew up in Menasha and graduated from Menasha High School. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where I earned a degree in Elementary and Middle School Education along with certifications in English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education. Over the past few years, I have worked and completed my student teaching throughout the Menasha district, including serving as a long-term substitute last school year. Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends, taking walks, and crafting. I am excited to join the team at Maplewood Middle School this year!

Name: Molly Barrett

Role at MJSD: Social Worker at Banta Elementary and EPIC Academy

A bit about me: I grew up in Appleton, attended Appleton schools, and continue to live in Appleton just a few blocks away from my childhood home. While I grew up in Appleton, I have Bluejay in my blood. My dad retired from MJSD after 40 years and my sister has been an employee for over 15 years.

In 2010 I studied abroad in Mexico and fell in love with the language, so I am more than excited to be surrounded by the Spanish language at work! I have a passion for learning new skills that promote an inclusive environment (such as ASL), having dinner picnics at the park with my whole family, going on drives and listening to stand-up comedy clips, and going to sushi buffets with my husband (no kids).

Favorite food: My all time favorite food is my mom's chicken soup and if I get to eat it at her house out of the same bowls from when we were kids, even better.

Role at MJSD: 6th Grade Special Education Teacher at Maplewood Intermediate

Hometown: Appleton

A little bit about me: This is my first year teaching, but I have been working with children for the past 6 years in a variety of programs through the YMCA. I just got married over the summer, so Mrs. Ulrich is still new to me. I am originally from the east side of Appleton, but we moved into our house in Menasha last year. Shortly after moving we adopted our goofy kitty, Fin. I have many hobbies that I love, some are camping, hiking, fishing, truly anything outdoors, as well as reading and crocheting. I am looking forward to working directly with my new community of Menasha!

Favorite food: Honey Garlic Asian Chicken Tacos with a side of sweet potato fries from Tanners in Kimberly

A bit about me: My name is Nevaeh Pearson, and I am so excited to be joining the Menasha Joint School District as a 3rd grade teacher at Butte des Morts Elementary!
