Notice: Rate Increase & New Location Update

​To our Ouachita Combat and Fitness Academy family,
​As many of you know, we are actively preparing our new gym location to bring you a bigger space, better equipment, full air conditioning, and an expanded class schedule.

​We are working as quickly as possible to get the new facility ready. However, the costs and operational debts required to build out and secure this upgraded space come due regardless of our timeline. To cover these rising overhead expenses while continuing to improve your training experience, our monthly rates will be increasing.
​Updated Monthly Membership Rates

​Kids (12 & under, 2 Days/Week): $70 / month
​Adults (13+, 2 Days/Week): $80 / month
​Boxing Only: $50 / month
​Unlimited (All Week & All Classes): $100 / month

​Note: The weightlifting section of the new gym is expected to be ready around September.

​We deeply appreciate your continued support, understanding, and loyalty as we take this big step forward to grow and improve OCFA for everyone.

🚨 FREE JIU-JITSU OPEN MAT THIS SATURDAY! 🚨

Come train with the Ouachita Combat and Fitness Academy family! We are hosting a FREE Open Mat this Saturday, April 25th, starting at 10:00 AM.

This event is completely FREE and open to everyone—members and non-members alike. All levels are welcome, and we encourage both Gi and No-Gi practitioners to join us on the mats.

It’s a perfect opportunity to get some extra rounds in, meet the team, and experience our community firsthand.

Looking to get some extra rounds in or sharpen your technique? Ouachita Combat and Fitness Academy is opening up the mats this Saturday morning for everyone in the community!

Whether you’re a seasoned vet or just looking to see what we’re all about, come through and put in that work. This is a community-driven session—no ego, just growth.

* TIME: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

​Our friends at Combat Concepts Academy are hosting a Judo & Jiu-Jitsu Seminar, blending explosive takedowns with precise ground control. Whether you're getting ready for your next tournament or just looking to improve your balance and grips, this is a prime opportunity to learn, grow, and bring new techniques back to our mats. 🎬 Tuesday Night Highlight Reel is LIVE! 🎬

​The energy on the mats last night was absolutely electric! ⚡️ Coaches Rob, Stephen, and Matt turned up the heat, and the crew brought their A-game. From flying judo throws to slick submissions, we put in the work and had a blast doing it.

​Here is a quick look at what we covered:
- ​Mobility Warmups: Inchworms, crab walks, and rolls to build that essential grappling foundation. 🦀
​- Standup Game: Launching partners with the classic O Goshi (Major Hip Throw). It’s all about getting under the center of gravity and using perfect leverage! 🥋
​- Ground Attacks: Web-slinging from Spider Guard! We stretched out our partners and drilled two high-percentage finishes: Spider Guard to Armbar 🕸️💪 and Spider Guard to Triangle Choke 🕸️🔺.
