Today, I took the oath of office to serve on the Memphis-Shelby County Schools - MSCS Board.

I’m grateful to the voters of District 8 for trusting me with this responsibility. I’m grateful to my family and friends who carried me through every part of this journey. And I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to serve our students, families, educators, and community.

I ran because I believe steady, thoughtful leadership matters — especially when the stakes are this high.

Now, it’s time to get to work.
