Our Eagle Educators ended a Gold Medal year with our awards banquet. We celebrated our many accomplishments, thanked our incredible coaches, cheered for our Teacher of the year: Mrs. Cason, and said “well done” to three amazing educators who will retire this year: Mrs. Matthews, Ms. Marshall, and Ms. Williams. An open letter to our kindergarten students:
Dear Kindergarteners,
What an incredible year it has been!
From the very first day you walked through our doors, you brought smiles, laughter, curiosity, and so much joy into our school. This year, you learned how to read new words, solve problems, make friends, share kindness, and believe in yourselves. You grew not only taller, but also braver, smarter, and stronger.
I hope you know how proud I am of each and every one of you. Kindergarten is such an important year, and you handled it with courage, excitement, and heart. Your teachers and families worked hard beside you, but you are the ones who showed up every day ready to learn and shine.
Never forget that you are capable of amazing things. Keep asking questions. Keep dreaming big. Keep being kind. And most importantly, keep believing in yourselves the way we believe in you.
As you get ready for first grade, know that you will always be a special part of our school family. We cannot wait to see all the wonderful things you will do next.
Keep reaching for the stars, little leaders. The world is brighter because of you.
