On Sunday, October 15, 2000 17,000s of blind individuals will celebrate national white cane day. The white cane not only identifies us as being blind but it also provides us with independence. Show your support by making a donation to your local national Federation of the blind chapter. In Memphis you can donate $20 by purchasing a ticket for the 2017 white cane award banquet. Your donation will go to support programs like the Bell Academy, free white canes, and advance our advocacy efforts.
