Join us for Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, September 10, from 1:00–3:00 PM and 5:00–7:00 PM. This is an important opportunity to connect with your scholar’s teachers, discuss their progress, and strengthen the partnership between school and home.

📣 Our Title I Meeting will also take place at 5:00 PM in the cafeteria.

⏰ Please remember that scholars will be dismissed at 12:00 PM that day. Families should plan accordingly.

MASE scholars are encouraged to rep the 901 by wearing Memphis Tigers, Memphis Grizzlies, Memphis Redbirds, or Memphis/901 apparel with jeans. Scholars who participate do not have to wear their regular MASE uniform that day.

MASE will REOPEN tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25, and return to our normal school schedule.

⏰ Doors open at 7:00 AM.
👔 Scholars are expected to arrive in their full MASE uniform.

We appreciate the patience and flexibility of our families following the severe weather and power outages across our community. We’re excited to welcome our scholars back into the building and get back to learning!

MASE Families,

Due to widespread power outages throughout Memphis, Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering will be closed Monday, August 24.

As MSCS continues to work alongside MLGW and local officials, significant power outages remain across our community and continue to impact schools and facilities throughout the District.

Power restoration is only one part of determining whether our campus is ready to safely welcome scholars and staff. In addition to power, conditions such as HVAC and other critical building systems, surrounding traffic routes, and overall campus readiness must also be evaluated.

As a result of Monday’s closure, R3 after-school programming, athletic games, school meetings, and all other scheduled MASE activities are canceled. Information regarding rescheduling will be communicated as it becomes available.

We will continue to monitor conditions and follow MSCS regarding decisions that impact school operations. Please continue to monitor MASE communication channels for updates regarding our return to school.

Thank you for your continued patience, flexibility, and partnership as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our scholars and staff.
