Snowden School GrandDog’s Day for KK-2nd grades ONLY is Friday, September 8th from 8:45am-9:45am, presented by the Snowden PTO’s GrandDogs! Come join our Snowden family for some donuts, photo booth, music, and more in the Snowden Gym.

If you plan on your child attending with a grandparent(s) or special grandparent figure, please RSVP at https://forms.office.com/r/y7qbL9MraW or return the permission slip by Friday, September 1.

Students must be checked in with their teacher by 8:15. They will be escorted to meet with their grandparent(s) in the gym by Snowden staff.

Let’s start the school year off with some yummy food and fellowship - come join other Snowden families and supporters, take the night off from cooking, and help us raise funds for the Snowden School PTO by participating in our Belly Acres Spirit Night on August 24 from 4-9pm at 2102 Trimble Pl.

You can participate in this fundraiser by:
Dine in (mention Snowden School when you order)
Take out (to place your order please call Belly Acres at 901-529-7017. Mention Snowden School and ask for any special instructions)
We will receive 15% of your meal’s price donated back to Snowden School PTO!

Vantiva dropped off a giant donation of school supplies for our students! Thank you!

Join us August 1 to meet your teacher and learn more about this year at Snowden!

Bring the whole family, your friends, or other Snowden supporters and come help beautify the school's campus on Saturday, July 29th from 9:00am - 11:00am. The focus will be on cleaning up beds, pruning plants, spreading fresh mulch, and some new planting. Please bring your own bottled water and gardening gloves and meet at the school’s main entrance. If you have any questions, contact PTO SnazzUp Snowden Co-Chair Sache Crouch at [email protected]. Rain date is July 30th from 9-11am.

In the event you cannot attend, be sure and share with your kids about the importance of taking care of the school campus, including picking up and throwing away their trash, not touching the plants that have been planted, pouring out any extra water in their water bottles on the plants when they leave school- and remembering to enjoy the beauty of nature. Lastly, if you are ever interested in donating plants to Snowden for planting on campus, please contact PTO SnazzUp Snowden Co-Chair Becky Beloin at [email protected].

Snowden kindergarten class reunites 45 years later One Memphis school class surprised their kindergarten teacher giving thanks for the field trips and experiences she showed them years ago.

The 5th Grade Promotional Ceremony was held Tuesday, May 23rd. The theme was New Hopes, New Dreams, New Ways.
The speaker was 5th grade student, Lyra Kuykindall. For entertainment, Elliot Engbretson played the piano, and London Chennault sang a song. We will miss these 132 students ❤️
