It's official! The Girls On The Run fall season has begun and already Coach Charlton has us moving! Today's lesson challenged us to find all the wonderful things that make up the "Recipe of Me". We came to learn we're all some pretty awesome people ☺️

Happy Read 901 Day! It’s a day to celebrate Memphis, literacy and the joy of reading!

Today, we stood with our district in promoting literacy and building a lifelong love of reading among our students. We read “Shelby County A to Z: A Phonics Book”, a book inspired by the people, places, and culture of Shelby County. This special book was proposed by two MSCS students as a way to celebrate diversity and representation, while helping young readers make meaningful connections to their own local community and environment.

We would like to thank our community partners, student council, and teachers for making this event a success.

Snowden Orff brought a little music and fun to the Memphis-Shelby County Schools - MSCS Board Meeting last night! We are so thankful the Board Members were there to accompany our singers and dancers! We had a great time making music together because that is truly what Orff is all about!

Way to go, Snowden Orff, and their directors, Linzie Mullins and Thomas Cesario!
