You endured so much during your tenure with MAHS and not a day did you waver from your responsibilities. Words can not describe the unconditional love and support you provided to your colleagues. You truly understood the assignment.

Mrs. Breckenridge… you deserve the world. There is an exciting world of possibilities out there that very few of us get the chance to explore during our working lives, but retirement is that time.

Losing Stinks…

The locker room was silent as heads hung low and the players awaited for the coaches to address them after their heartfelt loss. The Great MAHS Coach Vernard Watkins kept his speech simple and clear…

1. OWN IT
Losing is not the end of the world but should hurt. When you invest an inordinate amount of time, effort, and love into something losing should hurt. If it doesn't hurt, then you don't care. And if you don't care, you shouldn't have been playing.💔

2. STAY THE COURSE
Losing can't hurt for long. Let’s not wallow in self pity. Let’s quickly move past it. 👉🏽

3. 24-HOUR RULE
Valuable life lessons are lost when too much emphasis is placed on winning. Winning and losing is a big part of the total experience. 🏆

4. LIMIT YOUR WORDS
Keep them as short as 5 seconds…1001 1002 1005 Beware of who’s counting. 🤔
